1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GLP1Gut(the "Service"), including our mobile application and website at https://glp1gut.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by Igwe Studios LLC, a company registered in Delaware, USA.

2. Medical Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: GLP1Gut IS A PERSONAL WELLNESS AND TRACKING TOOL. IT IS NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE, DOES NOT PROVIDE MEDICAL ADVICE, AND IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS, TREATMENT, OR ADVICE.

By using GLP1Gut, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • The app is designed to help you track food, symptoms, breath test results, treatment protocols, and other health-related data for personal informational purposes only.
  • The AI-powered trigger detection, confidence scores, pattern analysis, and any other insights generated by the app are informational tools, not medical diagnoses. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading.
  • You should always consult with a qualified healthcare professional (such as a gastroenterologist, registered dietitian, or other licensed medical provider) before making any changes to your diet, treatment, medication, or health regimen based on information from the app.
  • GLP1Gut does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition, including but not limited to Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO), Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), or any other digestive disorder.
  • PDF reports generated by the app are summaries of user-entered data and AI-generated correlations. They are not clinical reports and should not be used as the sole basis for medical decisions.
  • GLP1Gut is not a HIPAA-covered entity and is not subject to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.
  • If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately. Do not rely on this app for emergency medical situations.

3. Description of Service

GLP1Gut provides the following features:

  • AI-powered food diary with photo recognition and barcode scanning
  • Tracking of 13 SIBO-related symptoms on a 1-10 severity scale
  • Breath test logging for hydrogen, methane, and hydrogen sulfide
  • Treatment and supplement round tracking
  • Meal spacing timer for migrating motor complex support
  • Diet protocol tracking (Low-FODMAP, Biphasic, SCD, Elemental)
  • AI-powered trigger detection and pattern analysis
  • Doctor-ready PDF report generation

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." Features may change, be added, or be removed at our discretion. We reserve the right to modify the Service with reasonable notice.

4. AI Accuracy Disclaimer

GLP1Gut uses artificial intelligence for food recognition, trigger detection, and pattern analysis. You acknowledge that:

  • AI food recognition may be inaccurate. Always verify that the app correctly identified your meal. Incorrect food identification may lead to inaccurate trigger analysis.
  • Trigger detection is probabilistic, not definitive. Confidence scores represent statistical correlations, not confirmed causation. A "high confidence" trigger may not actually cause your symptoms.
  • Pattern analysis requires sufficient data. Insights generated with fewer than 7 days of data are preliminary and may be unreliable.
  • AI models may contain biases or errors. The AI is a tool to assist your personal tracking, not a replacement for professional evaluation.

5. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use GLP1Gut. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are under 18, you may not use the Service under any circumstances.

6. User Accounts

When you create an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

An account is optional for basic app functionality. Certain features (such as cloud backup, if offered) may require an account.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
  • Use the Service to provide medical advice to others
  • Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service in an automated manner
  • Misrepresent the app's outputs as medical diagnoses or clinical results

8. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

8.1 Pricing

GLP1Gut offers both free and premium tiers. Premium features are available through paid subscriptions. Current pricing is displayed within the app and on the respective app store listing. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes will not affect active subscription periods.

8.2 Auto-Renewal

Premium subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (weekly, monthly, or annually) unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your app store account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.

8.3 Free Trial

If a free trial is offered, it will convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

8.4 Cancellation and Refunds

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account settings.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have access to premium features until then.
  • Refund requests are handled by the respective app store according to their refund policies. Igwe Studios LLC does not process refunds directly.
  • Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. You must cancel through your app store account settings.

8.5 Payment Processing

All payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment card information. All billing inquiries should be directed to the respective app store.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, functionality, design, and branding are owned by Igwe Studios LLC and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. The GLP1Gut name, logo, and goat mascot are trademarks of Igwe Studios LLC.

10. User Content and Data

You retain full ownership of all health data, food logs, symptom records, and any other content you create within the app. By using the Service:

  • Your health data is stored locally on your device (see our Privacy Policy).
  • You may export your data at any time as PDF or CSV.
  • You may delete all your data at any time from within the app.
  • We do not claim any ownership rights over your data.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR COMPLETENESS OF ANY AI-GENERATED INSIGHTS, TRIGGER ANALYSES, OR PATTERN DETECTIONS.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IGWE STUDIOS LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM: (A) YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE; (B) ANY ACTIONS TAKEN BASED ON AI-GENERATED INSIGHTS, TRIGGER DETECTIONS, OR PATTERN ANALYSES; (C) ANY CHANGES TO YOUR DIET, TREATMENT, OR HEALTH REGIMEN BASED ON INFORMATION FROM THE APP; (D) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR DATA; OR (E) ANY OTHER MATTER RELATING TO THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

13. Assumption of Risk

You expressly acknowledge and agree that your use of GLP1Gut is at your sole risk. Any dietary changes, treatment modifications, supplement adjustments, or other health-related actions you take based on information from the app are your own responsibility. You should always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your health regimen.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Igwe Studios LLC, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any rights of a third party; or (d) any health decisions you make based on information from the app.

15. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Binding Arbitration: Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in Delaware, USA or, at your election, remotely via videoconference or telephone.

Class Action Waiver: You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

Exceptions: Either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction. Claims eligible for small claims court may be brought there instead of arbitration.

16. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Service will cease immediately.
  • Your locally stored health data remains on your device and is not affected by account termination.
  • Active subscriptions should be cancelled through your app store to avoid further charges.

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account through the app or by contacting us at support@glp1gut.app.

17. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action not subject to arbitration shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Delaware, USA.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, or if modification is not possible, severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

19. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemic, government actions, power failures, internet or telecommunications failures, or third-party service outages.

20. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Igwe Studios LLC regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications.

21. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page, updating the "Last Updated" date, and — for significant changes — notifying you via email or in-app notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
